About RICIAL: Wearable Red Light Therapy Devices

Light,engineered.

RICIAL designs and manufactures wearable and at-home red light therapy devices. Most combine 660nm red and 850nm near-infrared light, and each new model is refined with feedback from at least 50 consumers before launch.

Our standard

A red light device is only as good as what's inside it. Many cheap ones use generic red LEDs and thin materials that don't last, often with no stated wavelength. Whichever brand you choose, don't settle for that. We list every wavelength, select every LED and build each device in our own factory.

The RICIAL team

Look inside

Not all red light is the same.

Two devices can look identical in a photo. The difference is the specification: the wavelengths the LEDs emit, how they are arranged, and the materials around them.

Sample AWavelength: not listed

A typical cheap device

  • Plain red LEDs, often with no wavelength listed
  • Little or no published specification
  • Thin shells and straps that wear out fast
Sample B660nm + 850nm

A RICIAL device

  • Dedicated 660nm red and 850nm near-infrared LEDs
  • Exact specs listed on every product page
  • Built in our own factory with materials we select

850nm near-infrared light is barely visible to the eye, so those dim LEDs are working. Switch to infrared view to see them.

Our story

How RICIAL works.

Designers comparing material samples over a lit LED panel

Where we start

Designed from the LED outward.

RICIAL was founded by a team with a background in product design. We build red light therapy devices to a clear specification, from wavelength to materials.

Each design starts with the light source. We set the wavelengths and LED layout first, then design the panels, straps and controls around them.

Before launch

Refined with feedback from 50+ consumers.

We give each new RICIAL device free of charge to at least 50 consumers of different ages. They use it in their daily routines and share feedback and suggestions. We refine the design based on what they report, and only then does the device go on sale.

During development we also consult our doctor advisors, and the fitness creators we partner with put each device through their own routines.

Where we build

In-house design. Our own factory.

RICIAL devices are designed and engineered in-house. We built our own factory in Shenzhen, a global center of LED and electronics manufacturing.

Running our own production lets us choose the LEDs and materials, control quality directly, and bring design refinements to the factory floor faster.

Our principles

What we stand for.

Four commitments guide our work, from the first sketch to the box a device ships in.

01

Exact wavelengths.

Most RICIAL devices pair dedicated 660nm red and 850nm near-infrared LEDs, with the exact wavelengths stated for every model.

02

Design to production.

We own every step from first drawing to finished device, so LEDs, materials and quality stay under our control.

03

Shaped by users.

No model goes on sale until 50+ consumers of different ages have used it and their feedback is reflected in the final design.

04

Clear guidance.

We present red light therapy as part of a wellness routine, state recommended session times, and say when to check with your doctor first.

Two wavelengths

Two kinds of light. Two depths.

660nm red and 850nm near-infrared light are absorbed at different depths. Pairing both lets a single session reach the surface and the layers beneath it.

Our process

From research to your routine.

Our devices follow the same four stages, from first specification to after-sale support.

  1. Set the specification

We define the wavelengths and LED layout, and review designs with our doctor advisors.

  2. Design for the body

Our design team shapes panels, straps and sizes so the LEDs stay close to the skin and stay in place.

  3. Refine with users

New models go free of charge to 50+ consumers for everyday use. We refine the design based on their feedback, then release it.

  4. Stand behind it

Free U.S. shipping, 60-day returns, a 1-year warranty and email support every weekday.
